Do you feel alone in having an especially crazy cat because of your cat's confusion and annoyance at the world? You aren't the only one; in fact, the cat you have might be viewed as being entirely normal. Discover eight odd cat behaviors, the reasons behind them, and how you can accept or even appreciate your eccentric cat's antics.
1 - A head bump
Your cat is expressing their affection for you as they bop, bop, and bops against their head. Additionally, they're letting everybody know that you are their property. Cats designate you as their own via pheromones located in their cheek regions. Do not be concerned if the cat does not headbutt you. Cats have a wide range of ways to show affection.
2 - Chattering
When cats are outside, they frequently chatter while watching birds and other creatures. It occurs when they chat using their teeth or lips together. 3 - Kneading

The stimulation of the mammary glands by their paws increases milk production. Your cat may also get relaxed or asleep as a result of repetitive, pleasurable, or calming behavior.
And keep in mind that when you rub your face, you leave a scent mark. Given that cats have smell glands within their paws as well, kneading probably has the same effect. Most cats exhibit some kneading behavior at some point in their lives, but some cats perfect the technique by pawing, purring, or drooling simultaneously.
4 - Covering feces
Every cat does this. But do they? Cats speak extensively in the litter box, and occasionally they want the world to see their (ahem) toilet graffiti. Domestic cats are frequently urged to cover their waste, and cats typically learn proper litter box behavior from their moms. However, a cat may elect to leave it exposed in order to mark its territory as its own.
5 - Playing with plants
There are many different reasons why cats munch on plants. They may do it to soothe themselves, because it makes them feel better, because they're curious, or because they want your attention. Of course, if they eat poisonous plants like lilies or daffodils, this could become an issue.
Make sure that the plants are suitable for cats if you're going to have them in your house. Also, pay attention to where you put them. Potted plants can be knocked over by cats, which can lead to accidents and a major mess. Additionally, parasite eggs may be present in potting soil. Keep cats away from the soil, or inquire about sterilized soil at your local garden center.
6 - Nighttime "zoomies"
When it's time for bedtime in the evening, nocturnal cats are especially feisty. It feels fantastic and is how cats let off pent-up energy. Cats sleep between twelve and sixteen hours every day, with the main energy surge occurring at night. This is due to the fact that their savage ancestors hunted primarily at night.

You might think about allowing your cat outdoors during daylight hours if it keeps you awake at night. It's a good technique to prevent those haphazard midnight runs around the house.
7 - Howling at the Nighttime
So when it involves cats yowling at night, two things are effective. First, when it comes to their natural hunting times, dawn and dusk, cats are usually more active. (And given how much they slept during the day, they are surely awake at least once throughout the middle of the night.) Second, they must have a number of small meals each day. 8 - Things being knocked over
When your cat knocks a book off the nightstand or knocks over a frame picture, it can be shocking and annoying, but this is typical behavior.
