Side Splits (Samakonasana)

Samakonasana (Center Splits Pose), also known as Straddle Split Pose, is a sophisticated hip gap created to boost the flexibility of the hips and groin. A split is taken into account to be a deep stretch of the inner thighs and is a component of the upper or advanced levels of yoga poses. Splits may be either aspect splits or centre splits. 1 - Start by stretching your legs on the ground and extending your legs as much as you can.
2 - Turn the outer edges of your feet squarely.
3 - The load of the body is supported by the arms.
4 - Press your palms into the ground, fingers pointing toward the body.
5 - There should be no excess weight on the knee or ankle joints as you lower to your level of flexibility.
6 - The gaze is downward and forward.
