Half-Spinal Twist (Ardha Matsyendrasana)

Half-Spinal Twist is also known as Ardha Matsyendrasana and Half Lord of the Fishes Pose. It's a little difficult to do, but full of benefits that cover all your body systems. The pose has many beneficial effects; it lengthens and strengthens your spine and stimulates the digestive system. Also, it can be good for the gallbladder, liver, spleen, intestines, and kidneys.

Tip To Do -

1 - Sit on your yoga mat, stretch your legs out in front of you, feet together, and keep your spine straight.
2 - Bend your left leg and place the heel of your left foot beside your right hip, and then place your right leg over your left knee.
3 - Place your left hand on your right knee and your right hand behind you. Then slowly twist your waist, shoulders, and neck in this sequence to your right and place your eyes over the right shoulder.
4 - Keep your spine straight.
5 - Stay in this position for 4 to 8 breaths. To leave this pose, release the right hand first, then your waist, chest, and neck, and sit up relaxed yet straight.
