Cat Pose or Cat Stretch Pose (Marjaryasana)

Cat Pose is also known as Marjaryasana and Cat Stretch Pose. Cat pose provides a gentle massage to your belly organs and spine. This breath-synchronized pose is helpful for your body and mind. This pose simply powers up your brain and improves focus. This simple yoga pose powers up your brain and improves focus and mental stability.

Beginner’s Tip

Allow your head to naturally descend by relaxing the back of your neck rather than forcing your chin to your chest. Remain relaxed and keep your shoulders away from your ears.

Tip To Do -
 
1 - Sit at the center of your mat like a Diamond Pose and stand on your knees.
2 - Lean in the forward direction. Place your hands on the ground.
3 - Keep your hands in a line with your knees. 
4 - Take a deep breath and raise your head slowly.
5 - Extend your abdomen as far as you can without straining yourself. Hold your breath for three seconds. Exhale and lower your head while stretching the spine upward.
6 - Pull in the buttocks and contract the expanded abdomen.
7 - Leave the head between the arms facing the thighs.
